The Story behind

Four generations of expertise

Sulis Fine Art traces its origins to Benjamin Diamond, the founder of an early-20th-century picture-framing workshop in New York, working closely with artists and institutions. Passed down through generations, the business evolved into Sulis, now led by Benjamin’s grandson Bill and great-grandson Dan. Today, the studio operates from the edge of the Cotswolds, where a dedicated team of art historians, restorers, photographers, technicians and despatchers work to uncover, restore, and present original works with care and expertise.

A painting leans against beige kitchen cabinets. The painting depicts a table with a blue plate holding fish and a lemon slice, a knife, and a purple bottle. Two wooden chairs are partially visible in the background.
A framed abstract painting hangs on a white wall above a shelf of books. The artwork features a table with geometric objects and a dish, set against a background with rectangles and diagonal lines in earthy tones.
