Amy Kent Rugs offers bespoke, handwoven rugs, working closely with artisan weavers in India and Nepal. Amy combines timeless design with personal service, offering complimentary site visits and tailored guidance. Inspired by nature, architecture, and anything around her that she knows will translate beautifully into textiles, her rugs are artful and enduring. Whether a custom commission or from her ready-made collection, each piece is crafted with care and integrity to bring comfort, colour, and individuality.
The Story behind
Founded in 2005, Amy began her studio with a mission to create beautiful, accessible, high-quality rugs. She travelled to India, where she partnered with a family-run studio in Bhadohi, later expanding to work with artisans in Nepal. These relationships remain central to the business today. Alongside her bespoke and ready-made lines, Amy has launched a recycled range and several brilliant collaborations with makers like Rapture & Wright and Daydress. Every collection is grounded in craftsmanship, sustainability, and a heartfelt sense of home.
Services
Rugs in the bespoke collection can be handcrafted to your chosen size, colour, and pattern. Amy offers site visits to guide selections, ensuring each piece perfectly suits your space. All rugs are ethically produced, certified by Care & Fair, a charity that ensures no child labour or unethical practices are used during rug production.
