Crafted with strong frames and high-performance, beautiful textiles sourced across Europe, each piece balances durability with a decorative approach. Customisable in size, fabric and trim, the pieces are intended for long-term use; to be updated where needed, and enjoyed season after season.

The Story behind

From hotel terraces to the garden at home

Plia Parasols began with founder Alex Sudron’s search for a more stylish alternative to standard garden parasols. Inspired by draped interior fabrics and the colourful beach parasols of the Amalfi Coast and French Riviera, the aim was to bring the same warmth and style to gardens. Working with experienced makers and specialist workshops, each design combines thoughtful design with practical details – such as storm vents to allow breezes to pass through – and materials suited to strong sun, wind and rain.

Services

Made-to-order and bespoke parasols, replacement canopies

Plia Parasols offers a range of made-to-order designs, with options to customise fabric, scale, and trim. Fully bespoke pieces available at very short lead times, using client-supplied textiles. Canopies are interchangeable and can be easily removed for indoor winter storage. Frames are designed for longevity, with fully replaceable parts if needed. Worldwide shipping available.
