Living Room Edit
European Essence of the Everyday
London and Lisbon-based architects Max de Roseé and Claire Sá have an affinity towards aesthetics, be it art, fashion or interiors. ‘When you move with your eyes wide open, there is so much to absorb and inspire you,’ says Claire.
This collection of pieces for a tactile living room combines practicality with beauty. It follows their design ethos to let day to day life happen well, and at the same time create an atmosphere that elevates the everyday.

Creating atmosphere
Max recommends that the first step to designing is to think, in detail, about how you really live. Where you take your coat off, where you listen to music, how you want to feel in each space; then create furniture and lighting groupings around this.
Adding fabrics and decoration
Only once they have established furniture groupings will Claire and Max then move onto materials and accessorising, using blocks of colour, distinguished pattern, and antique finds.
