Sally’s classical background influences her restrained approach to pattern. To not overwhelm a space, she uses muted florals, stripes, and textured fabrics, then combines these with block colours in natural fabrics like linen.
When designing the home, Sally suggests art is a priority, as it is impactful, practical to invest in, and if you are just starting out, will always move from house to house with you. ‘As time goes by, or if you move around, it is nice to have some things that have been with you for a while.’
