Organic Forms
Made from hand-thrown ceramic forms – each uniquely shaped and subtly glazed – The Peridot Pendant from The Workshop by Studio Peake was developed in collaboration with ceramicist Rupert Merton. Suspended on a slim brass rod, it gives a lightness to the room, and a sense of movement and solidity. The room is grounded by the lovely red Chair P5, designed by Josef Frank in the 1920s and available at Svenskt Tenn, whose openwork back gives an airy impression.
Works Of Art
The Peridot Lamp by The Workshop by Studio Peake – also a collaboration with Rupert Merton – is constructed from differently shaped ceramic objects, each hand-thrown and unique, making every lamp a singular work of art. Set it upon the Joyce Chest of Drawers from Pinch, with dark bronze finished pull handles and the quiet, elegant aesthetic of refined craftsmanship.
