The Story behind
Huckleberry was founded from a deep passion for furniture and craftsmanship. Creative Director Matt Podesta draws inspiration from architecture that thoughtfully embraces local materials and sits harmoniously within its surroundings. Each piece is handmade in Britain, with the studio working primarily in air-dried solid oak to celebrate the material’s inherent beauty and integrity. Somerset is a constant source of inspiration, where natural light and the historic setting of a Georgian rectory provide a backdrop to their work.
Services
Solid oak furniture made by hand to order in Britain. International shipping available. Each project begins with a consultation to understand how the furniture will be used, with close collaboration throughout. The studio supports Moor Trees, a charity dedicated to restoring native woodland on Dartmoor and South Devon, planting a tree for every piece of furniture made. All waste and off-cuts are repurposed.

Franquemont was founded in 2023 by Svetlana Willems, inspired by a love of historic textiles discovered while renovating her 18th-century canal house in Amsterdam. Trained at Central Saint Martins and mentored by Emma Mawston, former Head of Design at Liberty Fabrics, she researches not only patterns, but also the colour, scale, context, and making of archival textiles. The result is rich, timeless fabrics and wallpapers that combine historic depth with contemporary craftsmanship.
Materials are responsibly sourced, and production is carefully managed to minimise waste. Fabrics are available as samples or by the metre, with wallpaper samples also available. International shipping is offered.

Founder and Creative Director Jennifer Perez grew up alongside her Italian grandmother, developing a deep connection to creativity and craft. This foundation came full circle after a career in luxury fashion, when she began designing ceramics inspired by the simple, beautiful moments that bring people together around the table. She draws inspiration from her Tuscan surroundings: the olive tree groves and grapevines beneath Cortona, and the kitchen, where she and her family spend most of their time.
Ivo Angel offers a curated range of plates, platters, bowls, jugs, jars, cake and fruit stands, and vases; all ideal for everyday use and for styling. Custom and large-scale orders can be accommodated, with each piece thoughtfully designed to maintain character and artisan quality. Access store-only edits and one-of-a-kind finds in their Cortona shop. Worldwide shipping is available.

Founded in 2021 in Rajasthan by Isabella Valenzia, Pelican House was born from her passion for art history and textiles, and a desire to shine a light on the artisans behind handcrafted rugs. Seeing the lack of transparency and recognition in the global market, she set out to bridge the gap between buyers and the skills and traditions of India’s weaving communities. Joined by Creative Director India Holmes, she continues to champion craftsmanship, cultural heritage, and a more meaningful approach to design.
Rugs at Pelican House are available in bespoke colorways and sizes, crafted in close collaboration with clients. As proud partners of GoodWeave, every piece reflects ethical practice, ensuring fair pay, safe working conditions, and a child-labour-free supply chain.

The brand’s story is deeply personal, grounded in a passion for design and craftsmanship. After years of travelling and creating murals around the world, Peter and Rebecca founded their own studio, drawn to the authenticity of hand production and a desire to help revive British textile making. They began in a leaky barn, building their own printing table and sourcing the best British suppliers, gradually establishing a name that celebrates quality and small-scale artisan production. Their founding vision continues to guide their growth and drive their distinctive approach to textile design.
In addition to their standard colourways, any Rapture & Wright design can be printed in over seventy custom colours on three different base cloths. A bespoke colour-matching service is also available. Standard, customised, and bespoke samples can be ordered, with larger returnable samples also available.
