Headboards & Ottomans creates bespoke upholstered furniture - headboards, ottomans and valances - to exact specifications and a beautiful level of detail. Based between the Cotswolds and London, they work closely with clients and established UK workshops, drawing on long-standing relationships to deliver a highly personalised approach grounded in technical understanding and flexibility. Alongside their fully bespoke offering is a customisable collection with playful interpretations of traditional forms.

The Story behind

Built around the detail

After years working in interior architecture, Charlotte and Jack Spurrier started Headboards & Ottomans to bring a more thoughtful approach to bespoke upholstered furniture. They guide each piece from something as simple as a sketch, through the design process and then onto production, combining close collaboration with a strong understanding of upholstery and detailing.

Bespoke headboards, ottomans, and valances, made to order

Headboards & Ottomans offers made-to-order upholstered pieces, fully customisable in shape, size, fabric and detailing – from contrast piping and edge fabrics to stud work and skirts. A selection of house fabrics is available, or clients may supply their own at no additional cost. A sketch or reference image is enough to begin.
