Christian Bense

Christian Bense is a London-based interior designer, who launched his namesake studio in 2020. His love of interiors was sparked somewhat unconventionally, not from an early introduction to design, but from recognising his appreciation and affinity for composition, and a practical, objective eye.

Christian’s design process begins with context—lending each project a sense of purpose and cohesion. His interiors are elegant and thoughtful, with a strong, beautiful aesthetic that balances the contemporary and traditional. He is a 2025 House & Garden Top 100 designer and a 1stDibs 50 Honoree.
