The Story behind

Exceptionally sourced and thoughtfully curated 20th-century design

Founded in 2005 by Danish furniture specialist Nina Hertig and Swedish designer Ebba Thott, Sigmar began with a shared vision to bring a more considered, holistic approach to how we live. Drawing on their combined expertise, they set out to champion enduring design, that stands apart from mass production. In addition to sourcing rare modernist pieces, Sigmar collaborates with expert craftspeople to produce contemporary furniture using traditional techniques. Every piece reflects their deep commitment to quality, longevity, and thoughtful design.
