With bases in India, Nepal, and Turkey, and a design studio in London, Pelican House is committed to enduring quality, an innate sense of luxury, and exceptional service; creating meaningful, statement pieces with lasting impact.

The Story behind

Meaningful design crafted with care and conscience

Founded in 2021 in Rajasthan by Isabella Valenzia, Pelican House was born from her passion for art history and textiles, and a desire to shine a light on the artisans behind handcrafted rugs. Seeing the lack of transparency and recognition in the global market, she set out to bridge the gap between buyers and the skills and traditions of India’s weaving communities. Joined by Creative Director India Holmes, she continues to champion craftsmanship, cultural heritage, and a more meaningful approach to design.
