OTZI

OTZI creates heirloom furniture made to offer beauty and utility for generations. Founded by Otis Ingrams in 2019 and based in Norfolk, the studio handcrafts each piece using the finest vegetable-tanned leathers, native timbers and natural linens. By championing honest, high-quality materials, OTZI’s work is designed to perform and age beautifully, developing a rich patina that deepens with use.

The Story behind

Traditional artisan leatherwork shaped with contemporary precision

OTZI began with founder Otis Ingrams’ desire to create objects of permanence – pieces that are shaped by traditional craft and sustainable materials, that stand apart from disposability. Each design is made in-house by his passionate, innovative team of artisans, pairing age-old leatherwork methods of stitching, cutting, and finishing with traditional joinery, and supported by select modern processes.

OTZI offers a customisable collection of furniture and leather goods, as well as fully bespoke commissions. The studio is known for its collaborative approach and its ability to scale craftsmanship without compromising detail or material integrity. Worldwide shipping is available.
