London-based studio Craeton creates collectible furniture defined by masterful craftsmanship, sculptural presence, and the natural beauty of materials. Founded by husband-and-wife duo Richard Williamson and Isabelle Zeretzke, their work is guided by the aim that furniture should be beautiful, honest, and crafted to be cherished for generations. Their work blends innovation with a nostalgic, yet original style, showcasing a quiet, understated aesthetic. Known for precise detailing and architectural clarity, each piece is crafted using ethically sourced, high-quality materials, ensuring longevity and enduring appeal.

The Story behind

Creating beautiful, enduring furniture with sculptural presence

Craeton was founded with a shared commitment to meaningful design and objects that stand the test of time. Richard, a Central Saint Martins graduate with more than a decade of experience with global furniture brands, brings deep product knowledge and design expertise. Isabelle’s background in garment design adds a sharp eye for detail and an innovative, material-led sensibility. Supported by trusted British workshops, they create quality pieces with intersecting forms, architectural lines, and inviting presence through a thoughtful, collaborative process.

Customisation and bespoke commissions

Through their made-to-order approach, Craeton offers both customisation and fully bespoke commissions. Recognising that every designer’s project is unique, the team places strong emphasis on close collaboration to ensure each piece is an exact fit for its intended space. Items within the collection can be adapted in size, material, or finish to suit the project’s needs.


They also welcome the development of commissioned works, providing designers with a considered and flexible process for bringing their creative vision to life.
