The Story behind
Inchyra began with Caroline’s passion for old linens and a desire to recreate their soft, characterful beauty. Their first archive-inspired linens, released in 2012, were printed in Britain onto high-quality Belgian linen and finished using a specialist ageing process, that reproduces the look and feel of antique textiles while retaining strength. The collection now includes wallpapers, trims, homewares and small-batch furniture, all designed to work together and bring a subtle sense of heritage.
Services
Inchyra’s fabrics are suitable for curtains, cushions and light upholstery, produced print-to-order with bespoke colour matching available. Passementerie is made in collaboration with Britain’s oldest mill and is generally available from stock. Samples can be ordered online, with large returnable samples available on request. Martin Waller’s journeys have shaped the aesthetic that still defines the brand. Each piece reflects his belief that design has always been about more than attractive patterns and pieces, and is instead about reflecting a personal view on a subject. For him, this has often been describing a love of various places or peoples. “While many designers want to say something new, I want to say something old – to capture the flavour of an antique land and somehow bottle it.”
Andrew Martin offers an extensive in-stock selection, express delivery, and easy sample ordering. Their website allows for simple visualisation of fabrics. In partnership with Carma, they plant a tree for every order placed, supporting reforestation efforts and communities globally.

Coral + Hive was founded by South African Jeannine Birch to celebrate the artistry of her homeland and champion a slower, more considered way of living. Spellbound by women weavers from a young age, Jeannine soon focused solely on the deep and beautiful world of handwoven rugs. Each piece is created in close collaboration with skilled artisans, capturing the textures and tones of nature through natural fibres, exceptional weaving talent, and thoughtful design. Their weavers are deeply at home among their looms, creating sustainable heirloom rugs that invite slowing down and unwinding, imbued with the warmth and spirit of the hands that made them.
Their London and Cape Town showrooms are thoughtful, tactile spaces where designers and makers come together to explore materials and refine ideas. Reach out to view samples.
